Cambiotics is a biotechnology company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, working on the problem of PFAS, the long-lasting synthetic compounds often called forever chemicals.
Its main product is a probiotic formula built on bacterial strains selected for their ability to bind PFAS in the digestive tract, with the goal of supporting the body's natural elimination process. The company's research has been carried out with the University of Cambridge's MRC Toxicology Unit and published in Nature Microbiology. It also offers PFAS blood testing through a partnership with Quest Diagnostics.
Cambiotics serves consumers, healthcare practitioners and groups with higher exposure such as firefighters and military personnel, with a US launch planned for 2026.
